Tours

The UConn Botanical Conservatory provides more than 50 tours per year for university programs, including open houses, Family Weekend, and alumni events. We also host schools and civic groups from across Connecticut.

Some of these tours are general; others are thematic, highlighting orchids, carnivorous plants, and succulents. Teachers are welcome to browse our collections online and request a tour focusing on specific plants to match their curriculum goals.

Greenhouse staff can provide formal tours for educational groups, garden clubs, and other organizations. Tours are limited to 15 people per tour guide to maximize the participants’ experience. We can accommodate tours of up to 45 people, depending on staff availability.

Please email the general manager at least two weeks before your requested date to allow adequate time to coordinate your tour.
