The UConn Botanical Conservatory houses one of the most diverse academic collections of living plants under glass in the United States.
Our work supports cutting-edge research and provides a portal into living biodiversity for our community members. We awaken awe and promote the understanding that the future of humans is intimately tied to the health of plants, both wild and cultivated.

Visit Us
Our main greenhouse facility is open to walk-in visitors Monday through Saturday during regular operating hours. Schools and organizations can arrange group tours in advance.
Inside the Conservatory
The Conservatory is part of the Biodiversity Research Collections in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. It consists of two greenhouse facilities on UConn's main campus in Storrs.
